Silagen® Scar Refinement System forms a lightweight, self- drying, medical grade silicone barrier for the treatment of scars. The proprietary blends of silicones rapidly dry to form a sheet; this silicone protective layer is gas permeable, flexible and waterproof. This creates an environment which allows the scar to mature through normalized collagen synthesis cycles, and significantly improves the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar

With SPF 30, this scar gel also helps prevent UV-induced scar hyperpigmentation.

Ingredients:

Active Ingredients:  Zinc Oxide 20% - Sunscreen

Inactive ingredients:  Polymerized Siloxanes, (Silicone Gel), C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Polyhydroxystearic Acid.

Fine, helps remove scars. Had a scar from previous MOH surgeries and it appears to be fading, after applying a small amount twice daily.
