Nudestix has skincare that we never knew we needed
It’s self-love juice for your face
Talk about perfect timing! Our fav five-minute makeup brand, NUDESTIX, just launched their new skincare range in Dubai and we’ve got the exclusive for you. We zoomed with gorgeous, #bossbabe co-founder, Taylor Frankel, to get all the deets on the new moisture-focused range that’s debuted just in time for Ramadan.
Standards higher than the Burj Khalifa
Double cleanse, peel, tone, + hydrate. Simple enough, right? NUDESKIN is based on this four-step regimen. The entire range contains only five products that can be used on all skin types. The range was made in conjunction with Hollywood-based dermatologist Dr. Jason Emer (@jasonemermd), who is a BIG believer in the power of exfoliation. After using the NUDESKIN range for two weeks straight, the glow on our skin has us 100% converted.
Yuzu (not just a dessert at Nobu)
Taylor could not stress enough how NUDESKIN *only* contains the best ingredients in their formulas. The ingredients labels read like our favorite mocktail menu: apple, lemon, lime, yuzu, turmeric, orange, and pomegranate! Not only are they skin-restoring antioxidants, but they help combat the dreaded #maskne too. Sis, it’s time to make peace with our mirrors.
We’ve are loving the Lemon-Aid Glow Micro-Peel. It uses skin-softening acids that loosen up and get rid of dead skin cells revealing fresh and beautiful, baby-like skin underneath. The Citrus Clean Balm & Make-Up Melt not only removes even the most stubborn eye makeup (tried + tested by yours truly!) but the rosa canina fruit oils within the formula restore our skin’s texture, too.
You deserve better. NUDESKIN knows you do, too.
There are a few things you won’t find in NUDESKIN products. Namely, pro-drying alcohols, parabens, synthetic fragrances, sulphates, or phthalates. And FYI, NUDESKIN, ticks *all* the boxes. Literally…all of them. Cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan, non-toxic, and all the products are in biodegradable, eco-friendly packaging.
Taylor’s top tips:
- Both of the cleansers can double as masks. Use a jade roller or gua sha stone to melt the mask into your skin for maximum hydrating benefits.
- Apply both cleansers to dry skin. They are formulated to be used without water. Use a towel to pat your skin dry before using the Gentle Hydra-Gel Face Cleanser.
- Taylor loves to tap in glycolic acid with her fingers instead of a cotton pad. You can use it on your body too.
- Only a chickpea-sized amount of the moisturizer is necessary. This skin-brightening formula is created so that a little goes a looong way. Our wallets say #thankyou!
